A drone-mounted thermal camera identifies hot connections, bus bars, insulators, and transformers before they fail — the same diagnostic a ground-based thermographer performs, but covering elevated, hard-to-reach structures in a single pass, with no climbing and no energized outage required.
Do I need a special permit to fly near high-voltage lines?
Yes — operating near energized electrical infrastructure requires a pilot with a current AFAC license and, depending on the case, coordination with the line operator. DroneMex only surfaces pilots whose AFAC certificate and aircraft registration are uploaded and verified on their profile.
How is a right-of-way or substation inspection priced?

What do I receive — photos, a thermal report, or both?
